A few months back I got a call asking if I wanted to co-curate an exhibition in Guernsey which fell just after the Time of the Signs exhibition in London. Being a Yes man I replied ‘Yes’ and that set off a chain of events that led to having one of the best exhibition/street art projects I have ever taken part in.
The exhibition, run in the Art for Guernsey Gallery was a mixture of local artists and a curated group of international artists and in the build up to the show a number of local and international artists hit the street with paint and spray cans to create a wonderland of light and colour on an otherwise fairly derelict street.
