During the Time of the Signs exhibition in Atom Gallery I ran around London with this correx sign of Godzilla looming over the Big Ben. When I went into the Tate to get out of the sun and get a quick art fix the sign was briefly confiscated at the door where I had to fill out a form saying what item had been confiscated. I wrote Godzilla street sign and no one battered an eyelid.
Being a street artist in a city like London was refreshing in the way that there are so many people doing so many things that if you are pasting or painting on a wall no one gives a shit. You don’t even need to wear a high viz as a disguise.
