Times are hard for everyone except maybe tech bros, oil barons and bloody landlords. But for everyone who isn’t a tech bro, oil baron or a bloody landlord things suck. Being an artist in the time of the rise of the idiot AI machine is no exception to this and over the years there is less and less work for people who work in the arts.
I am a firm believer in normal people being able to afford art and I like, when I can, to give art away for free.
For what ever reason I get very little work in the Belfast street art scene and much of the work I create around this city, from paste ups to doodles to hacked street signs, has been made for the joy of making art on the streets.
I am not going to stop making affordable or free art but if you have a spare bit of cash then a small donation would be highly appreciated and would allow me to keep making work for the simple joy of making art for people to enjoy.
