This piece takes its cues from a classic soviet propaganda poster and is part of the Welcome to the Simulation series. Information wants to be free is a part of the propaganda sequence that sees the Sims attempting to take control over the mathematics that controls their lives.
The phrase itself comes comes from Stewart Brand who argued that information should be used for liberation rather than oppression.
Information Wants to be Free is a handmade 2 colour screen print onto some rather nice Colourplan harvest acid free art paper.
The paper measures 48×64 cm and the print measures 33.5×61 cm
