I had wanted to make a piece to raise funds for the plight of the people of Palestine, more particularly for the charity War Child who work specifically with children in war zones. As they say ‘One child caught up in a conflict is one too many.’
The print that I had designed for this charity drive looked like it would be quite nice but I printed 50 of them and they looked terrible and that is what brought me back to this piece.
I made this screen print a few years back to highlight the absurdity of war and I think that it still stands.
All proceeds from the sale of this art work will go directly to War Child.
