Description
I had this newspaper printed after the Welcome to the Simulation exhibition in Atom Gallery but the company that printed them sent me a whole batch of the first draft, rather than the final draft, and it was all a bit of a fuck up really.
These have been in my studio and I have been wondering what to do with them for a while now but this morning I realised that I could sell them for a fiver each and give the money to a charity that works with refugees displaced by war.
And now would be a good time to get on and do that.
This is the blurb from the final print run of the Simulated Times Newspaper.
Extra! Extra! Read All About It!
Issue one of the Simulated Times out available now!
Simulated Times follows on from my Welcome to the Simulation exhibition in London and this newspaper brings the Sim into the real world once again. With 16 pages of nonsense text and visual propaganda this tabloid format paper collects together a selection of new (and old) artworks from the Welcome to the Simulation series.
The Simulated Times is 11 full colour pictures printed on newsprint and measures 28 x 37 cm.
The Charity that I will be donating the money to is the ICRC, the International Committee of the Red Cross.
