Many years ago I took a screen printing course in cork print makers. Before the course started they asked us to bring in some previous work that we wanted to work into screen prints and I chose this as the first one. This was part of a series called War Head that I had exhibited in Bristol and is a mixture between collage and painting. This is a scan of the original piece rather than the screen print It made in Cork Printmakers. In some ways this is a fairly dark image but when ever I see it it fills me with fond memories of pulling my first successful screen-print and that it why I have included The Morrigan in this digital collection. This print measures 21×29cm and is printed onto off white Claire Fontaine 220gsm acid free art paper.
Each print is signed and numbered with an artist’s stamp on the back. I comes packaged in a cello bag and is posted flat. The Morrigan is a limited edition of 40.
