The Forbidden Emoji

This piece began life as a paste up street art piece that I made years back for the Vault Fringe Festival.
I had always known that I wanted to do something with this piece but it took me a while to figure out how to pull all the elements together so that the screen print could be as good as the original.
The Forbidden Emoji is a part of my exhibition What’s He Building in There? in the Vault Canteen Gallery.
This is a 5 colour screen print onto 280gsm acid free art paper.
The paper measures 48 x 64 cm and the print itself measures 40 x 54 cm and is designed to fit inside a standard frame.
The Forbidden Emoji is an edition of 20. Each is numbered and signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
